SPACE AND PLACE

I visited the Ringling Museum in Florida to see the art display. It is in Sarasota on the sea. It’s an art museum with different kinds of art. I liked the Kotler-Coville Glass Pavilion because I like how they sculpted the gown using glass. There is a beautiful park and a lake where the visitors can sit, relax, and watch turtles, fishes, and ducks. It consists of the art displays from all over the world. There is a mansion inside the museum complex where the Ringlings lived during the winter. I didn’t like Rose Garden as there are no roses on plants and it’s not maintained well. The ocean view from the Terrace of the mansion is very beautiful and picturesque. There is also Bayfront Garden in the Ringling Museum which looks like an arboretum.
In this final piece, I built layers by adding colors to the layers after putting and image-tracing a new photo on top of the picture (first version) to make it more abstract. I copied and pasted the layers to fill up the empty spaces. Also, I think that the lines which I drew from the first version are fine in this final version.

I modified the images to have lighter colors because I love light colors. In the first image, I modified the image by removing the dog and adjusting the colors using different layers like the selective color, vibrance, exposure, curves, levels, brightness/contrast, and color balance. In the second one, I rearranged the flowers by using the rectangular marquee tool and adjusted the colors to light colors using different layers. In the third one, I altered the size of an image shorter, moved the location to back, and made a transparent background to lighten the image.
