I'm Satwika Pitchala...
As an artist, whenever I see things anywhere that interest me, I begin to work on them with my drawing and painting utensils. Then, I use colored utensils and paint on paper to flesh out my view of artworks. I enjoy exploring my artwork with a keen eye. I work persistently to expose the complexities of each light, bright and dark hue, the various perspectives of layering and the details of artwork that I am recreating. I decided which utensils, paint, and paper will bring the most value to my own creation.
As I discover the beauty of art, I notice the color sets and moods to increase my artistic possibilities and put forth a piece that one can feel and connect with. I take importance in merging my peace and love for nature with my own thoughts and emotions. Art became my way of expressing my own emotions. My interests developed into ceramics where I created small, different sculptures using clay, colored glazes, and ceramic tools. For example, landscape nature is the inspiration for my artwork. It inspires me because landscape nature is beautiful and relaxes my mind. I choose locations loaded with beautiful scenery which includes the reflection of foliage surrounded by trees to develop the possibilities of color and optical mixing.
I have found ways to express my own imagination of different things around my life through developing different artistic skills. My goal is to get more experience with digital art and 3D animation. My skill base includes the use of Adobe apps to create pictures and animation videos. In my graphic design classes in College of DuPage, I have learned how to use audio, create stories, characters, movements, and scene designs to effectively create a visual of my imagination. My interests went from a 2D perspective to a 3D perspective, where I started to create ceramics. I can use my own imagination to create a physical, usable piece to integrate into my daily life.
